Personal Lines Insurance License Classes​

Personal lines insurance is a type of insurance that provides coverage for individuals and families. As a licensed Personal Lines Insurance Agent, you can offer insurance policies designed to protect your client’s personal property and their assets from financial loss due to accidents, theft, natural disasters, and other unforeseen events. This type of insurance covers a wide range of products, including auto, home, renters, flood, pet, and personal liability insurance.

This line of insurance is different than a Property and Casualty Insurance License in that Property and Casualty insurance encompasses personal and commercial property of an individual. ​​XCEL offers Personal Lines Insurance Licenses classes and Property and Casualty Insurance Licenses classes.​​

2. Decide if you need additional study tools – XCEL offers flashcards and even a comprehensive livestream exam review​
3. Schedule and take your state’s exam – now that you’ve finished your 3-part pre-licensing package, we’ve automatically sent your pre-licensing certificate to your state (if applicable).​​

XCEL’s courses include the most important topics that includes chapters and exam simulators that are weighted identically to the state exam. Topics vary by state requirements, but XCEL courses are mapped to your state’s content outline meaning you won’t see material that isn’t relevant to your state’s exam/requirements.

The state licensing exam cost varies by state and is not included in your XCEL course price. State licensing exams can range from $40-$150.​​
