This course will look at the responsibilities of the Long-Term Care Insurance (LTC) agent, including the agent’s use of tools, techniques, and ideals that can be used to bring consistency and fair dealing to long-term care insurance. Along with an overview of new habits, we will discuss the triggers of an LTC policy (activities of daily living), product features and provisions, and Long-Term Care Partnership plans.

This course provides an in-depth explanation of the various types of annuities and their features, how to structure annuities and the necessary due diligence for making appropriate recommendations. This course will also cover regulations regarding the sales of annuities aimed at safeguarding consumers.
HI Senior Moments: Long-Term Care Insurance and Medicare - 7 Hours
This course covers key topics to understanding the long-term care (LTC) needs of elderly adults. This course begins with an overview of Medicare and Medicaid in terms of how they will or will not pay the costs of LTC, then goes into LTC statistics, costs, provider options, and policy features and provisions. The course concludes with several modules that consider how to better explore a client’s LTC needs and identify alternative coverage/financing solutions.
