This course examines the different types of annuities, their attributes, structuring alternatives, and the due diligence required for making suitable recommendations. In an effort to protect the consumer, regulations regarding the sale of annuities have become more stringent.

ND Long-term Care Insurance - Initial Training - 8 Hours

This course will look at the responsibilities of the Long-Term Care Insurance (LTC) agent, including the agent’s use of tools, techniques, and ideals that can be used to bring consistency and fair dealing to LTC insurance production. Additional topics will include exploring your client’s needs and suitability, a general view of LTC product features and provisions, tax strategies related to long-term care products, LTC financing alternatives, and LTC-P (partnership) plans.

ND NFIP Required Flood Insurance Training - 4 Hours

This course will ensure that insurance agents, the main points of contact for policyholders and flood victims, have a thorough understanding of the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) so they may effectively and competently serve the flood insurance buying public. This course meets the minimum education and training requirements established by FEMA for all insurance agents who wish to sell and service flood policies issued through the National Flood Insurance Program.

ND Insurance Producer's Guide to Ethics - 4 Hours

The purpose of this course is to examine the concept of ethics and how it relates to the insurance producer. It attempts to show how embracing a personal code of business ethics will guide the producer’s activities beyond what is required (or prohibited) by law toward a higher level of service and success.

ND Understanding Errors and Omissions Coverage - 4 Hours

This course addresses Errors and Omissions (E&O) insurance and professional liability insurance, answering many of the questions about how E&O insurance works. We will explore the various types of policies available, the professionals they serve, the liability coverage provided, and tips for preventing costly litigation and claims.
